Welcome to Marcie's Travel Journal
A journey in journaling
My husband Bob and I simply love to travel. Whether it is taking road trips or going overseas, we have been fortunate to be able to visit many parts of the world. Because there is so much to see, so many beautiful sights and sounds, so many cultural differences, I have always kept a small daily journal of our trips. Then when a very good friend of mine gave me a travel journal, I became more passionate about writing down our experiences.
With our children grown and their wanting to know where we are, I started typing my travel journals and e-mailing them to the family. That soon blossomed into e-mailing our adventures to many other friends as well. These friends have graciously applauded my writings, even encouraging me to write travel books! This has led me to establish this blog.
Some journals of past trips will be archived on this site; but as we go forward, I’ll post not only our trip journals, but other mini adventures we enjoy. I hope you learn a little through our experiences and enjoy “meandering with us” through my journals, as we have been so Blessed to encounter our beautiful world and its people!
